About PSI
The Psychology Summer Institute offers a unique opportunity for advanced doctoral students and early-career psychologists to enhance their skills and make a positive impact serving underserved populations through research or service.
Participants work with experienced mentors to develop projects such as grant proposals, postdoctoral fellowships, dissertations, treatment programs, publications, or program evaluations that address critical issues faced by these communities.
PSI provides a supportive environment for professional growth and networking, empowering participants to advance their careers while driving meaningful change.

Who Can Apply
Late-stage psychology doctoral students who have successfully proposed a dissertation before the application deadline, postdoctoral trainees, or psychologists who have received a doctorate within the last ten years.

Being able to stay connected with some of the program faculty and participants has been invaluable to me. I continue to obtain mentorship from some of the faculty from the program and am also collaborating on a project with one of the participants from my year.
